Multi-Parametric Prostate MRI

Multi-parametric prostate MRI (mpPMR) is proving useful for diagnostic accuracy, risk assessment, initial staging, monitoring cancer recurrence and treatment response, tissue characterization and image guidance for interventional procedures. Conventional T1 and T2 weighted acquisitions help rule out hemorrhage while providing prostate gland zonal anatomy detail. Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI) enhances lesion detection. TIGRE dynamic contrast enhanced acquisitions depict wash in / wash out characteristics of suspicious prostate lesions.
